I am secretly loving the fact that the weather is thinking about taking a turn towards autumn.
I can smell it in the air – can you?
I can see it in the few leaves that have started to collect around the corners of our garden, the apples and plums taking shape and color on the trees…
I recently visited the loft and took down some boots, scarves and jackets and, I must admit, I am excited for this change in wardrobe.
But, enough about random seasonal preferences, today I wanted to take the opportunity to share a gorgeous family session with you – that took place back in spring.
Yes, summer was SO busy, I am super behind with blogging, but luckily that means that a lot of beautiful sessions from the last few months are to be shared here soon.
As the weather in Scotland can range from burning sunshine to blistering snow on any given month, this spring session was dressed in jackets and boots.
And how gorgeous was it for it!
We had a wonderful morning at this lovely family’s home – they wanted to capture their current residence, which, I am sure, bore not much resemblance (apart from the wonderful taste in styling the interior, some amazing furniture pieces and a show-stopper of a photo wall) to surroundings of their previous home – in sunny Oz!
But I think you’ll agree that they suit cosy-wear so well, rocking jackets and wellies and making the most of the unpredictable seasons!
I’ve had a few bookings for the autumn months already – those that appreciate a warm jumper and golden leaf look – if you would like to capture your family memories amongst the autumnal colors, get in touch now!
