Around two years ago I had a plan.
I had a few sessions in lovely clients’ lovely homes lined up and I was incredibly excited to launch a new service in my small photography business.
I was going to start offering photo sessions inside your homes! Capturing all the warmth and love and magical things that make it so much more than the place where you sleep.
Our homes are the places where we create memories, where we read stories and play board games, cook and play - and all the cuddles and laughter and everything else in-between.
So this was on my mind.
Fast-forward a few months and we all know what happened… which didn’t necessarily cancel my excitement for offering in-home sessions, but certainly put a bit of a pause to launching it.
But since this spring I have been SO very fortunate to have some incredible clients come to me specifically requesting in-home sessions in their homes in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
You may know the Matriarch of this beautiful family , because Siobhan is the incredible hair stylist extraordinaire behind The Grainge Hair Boutique in Portlethen, Aberdeen.
She has been the hair wizard of my family’s hair for a lot of years, so this was such a special family shoot to take on.
When Siobhan asked me to take photos of her family after the arrival of their youngest son, in their beautiful new home, it truly was an offer I couldn’t refuse.
