My family mini sessions take place outside in the beautiful surroundings of Aberdeenshire and Angus. Maybe, just like mine, your children are wild and unruly and love being silly and to have fun?
Well, an outdoor mini session is perfect to contain all that energy!
I will photograph you having fun as a family (yes, you absolutely have to be in these photos!) and also the children individually and together.
I pride myself on creating family portraits that are full of joy and personality and even dads walk away saying it didn't hurt quite so much!
Does posing for photos fill you with dread?
You'll be amazed with how much we can capture within 20 minutes. I have a vault of prompts and games we will play, so you'll never be left to pose yourself or feeling awkward
After your session, you will receive a gallery of images that will make your heart melt. You can pick your favorite 5, which are included in the session fee, or choose to take more (never any hard sell from me!). One of your chosen 5, will also be delivered as a beautiful print, hand-finished by me and ready to be gifted or displayed in your home.

While I believe that YOU are the main attraction at your family photo session, I do not treat location-hunting lightly.
Chosen for their perfect ability to provide the ideal backdrop at the season we are shooting, my three locations for the family minis in 2024 are a dramatic beach near Montrose, luscious & leafy country park near Laurencekirk and the most beautiful golden forrest in Stonehaven!
Each location has abundant and free parking and even something extra about it to make it perfect for a family day out after we create your beautiful family keepsakes (hint: more info will be on your prep guide!).
Who am I?
Hi, my name is Iana (starts with an 'i', rhymes with banana)
I have been photographing families from Aberdeen, the shire and even as far afield as Australia and the US of A for 7 years.
how can this be, given you're only 18? - I can almost hear you ask...
I pride myself on having even the most reluctant of models walk away from the shoot with a smile on their faces!

WHO IS THIS SHOOT FOR?If you ask yourself: am I proud of all my headshots - wherever they may be - and the answer isn't a firm and noisy 'Yes!', then this is for you. Perfect for creative enterpreneurs not quite ready to go for the full Personal Branding package or if you're pretty great at creating your own content - just not so great with photos of yourself, or, perhaps, you work for a company, but they don't organise standardised headshots and you really don't want to be using a party pic from many moons ago. I've got ya!

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST ME?My pricing is always transparent and honest - no hidden extras and tricks. The price is £129 per slot and includes 3 images of your choice. If you sign up before Friday, 20th of January, you can enjoy the Early Bird price of £99. Slots accommodate one person only, but if you're looking to book yourself and your biz partner, just reach out and we can get you both booked on! You will be offered the opportunity to buy extra images, priced at £25 each or £149 for the entire Gallery, but this is completely optional and there's never an expectation nor pressure from me to spend more than you set out to.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I GET?You will receive a viewing Gallery of 15 photos from your shoot, from which you will select 3 you like the most. As above, you'll be able to get more, should you need to/like them/can't part with them, but this is entirely optional. So at the end of your shoot, you will be sure to have 3 beautiful images of you to use however you please!

WHAT IF IT RAINS?Wouldn't that be so Scottish for the elements to try and get in the way? Well, I'm a big believer in mood, so unless the weather is absolutely DREADFUL, we will go ahead (trust me, I want you to have beautiful photographs and will never continue with an event in conditions that will produce anything less than that!). Bring an umbrella - it could serve as a good prop and will be good for walking - should it be required at all (I'm practicing my 'no rain' dance as we speak!).

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY PHOTOS?Not long! You will receive your Gallery within 1 week of your shoot, at which point you will select the three you love the most and they will be available for an instand download to be loved and used immediately.

HOW MUCH EDITING WILL YOU DO?I will edit the images in my signature style - in color, beautiful, natural tones and light. You will look like you - but on the best day :) I will take care of any pesky last minute blemishes, so don't let that uninvited photobomber stress you out. Any further, involved editing (and I mean photo-Botox works :)) will cost an additional £15 per photo.
